ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH

•  NI Museum of Macedonia – Skopje , in the period between 15.10 and 03.11.2007 will perform systematic archaeological research at the site “Gradishte-Buchinci”, village Buchinci, Skopje . The research works will be carried out in the northern part of the necropolis, under the leadership of Strahil Temov, archaeologist, senior custodian.

•  NI Museum Kumanovo – Kumanovo, in the period between 16.10 and 30.11.2007 will perform systematic archaeological research at the site “Tatikjev Kamen”, village Kokino. The research will be carried out in the sector “Severna terasa” (North terrace), under the leadership of Jovica Stankovski, archaeologist, custodian.

•  NI Museum Gevgelija – Gevgelija, will perform systematic archaeological research at the site “Gradishor-Mramor”, village Miletkovo. The research will be carried out at the discovered “Roman house”, and namely in the atrium and around it. The works will be performed in the period between 22.10 and 26.11.2007, under the leadership of Emil Slamkov, archaeologist, senior custodian.

The Ministry of Culture provides the finances for the three projects.

•  NI Museum of Macedonia – Skopje , in the period between 22.10 and 20.11.2007 will perform systematic archaeological research at the site “Tumba – Madzari”, Skopje . The researches will be carried out on the base of the object already researched in 2004. Dragisha Zdravkovski PhD, archaeologist, custodian, will lead the research work. The Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Gazi Baba provide the finances for the project.

•  In the course of October continues the archaeological research of NI Museum of Negotino at the site “Gradishte” at Negotino – in the period between 04.10 and 24.10.2007 and of NI Museum of Macedonia - Skopje on the object “Roman forum” in Stobi in the period between 01.10 and 15.12.2007.
