Third meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on
Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage
 Between 4 and 8 November in Istanbul , Turkey , was held the Third regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO for Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage. At the meeting, with participation of the members of the intergovernmental committee, the representatives of the member-states of the Convention for safeguarding of the intangible heritage and representatives of non-governmental organizations, were discussed and adopted the following conclusions for:
• inclusion of 90 property proclaimed in 2001, 2003 and 2005 as “Masterpieces of the Oral and Immaterial Heritage of Humanity” in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”;
• adoption of a Document on the Operational Guidelines for Usage of the Emblem of the Convention;
 • adoption of a Document for the Operational Guidelines for Availability of the Convention;
• Operational Guidelines on the Manners of Increasing of the Sources for the Fund of Intangible Heritage;
• accreditation of the non-governmental organizations for providing appropriate services to the Committee;
• The procedure for examination of the nomination of the property on UNESCO's List for Safeguarding of the Intangible Property and the appeals for international assistance;
• establishment of an auxiliary body for examination of the nominations for the Representation List;
• the rules for accepting observers at the Committee's meetings.
The members of the Bureau for the Fourth meeting of the Committee were elected at the end of the meeting, also determining the date and venue for its holding.
 As representatives from Macedonia at this meeting were Zoran Pavlov MA, Head of the Department for Documentation, International Cooperation and Administrative Affairs and Valentino Dimitrovski, Head of the Section for Movable Cultural Heritage from the Cultural Heritage Protection Office, as well as Boshko Angelovski from the Ministry of Culture.
