THE PROCEDURE FOR PROCLAIMING CULTURAL HERITAGE OF SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE FOR TEN COLLECTIONS OF MOVABLE HERITAGE IS IN FINAL PHASE

In the framework of the Program for re-evaluation of the movable cultural heritage, expert teams from the NIUL “Sv.Kliment Ohridski”, had prepared studies for re-evaluation of nine library collections and one collection of drawings from this institution, that after the performed commission revision are foreseen subjects for adoption of a decision by the Government of RM for proclaiming them as cultural heritage of special significance.

They are the following collections: „Manuscripts in Persian language”, „Manuscripts in Arabic language”, „Manuscripts in Old Turkish language”, Archaeograpic collection „Inkunabuli”, Archaeographic collection „Old-print and rare book”, Archaeographic collection „Old Slavonic manuscripts”, that are proposed for the sub-category exceptional significance, and “Macedonia in postcards until 1946” , „Rare periodicals”, „Cartographic material (original maps and atlases)” and “Collection of drawings”, that are proposed for the sub-category great significance.
