ACTIVTIES OF THE INSPECTION SERVICE

The Inspection service at the Cultural Heritage Protection Office, in the framework of its regular activities, had performed an insight of the sounding archaeological research of the church St. Nicholas in the village Ljubanci, Skopje area. Namely, with the performed research of the external part of the northern wall, was discovered a perimeter wall of an older object on the eastern side that ends with an apse. Also, between the older and the present wall were discovered remnants of a floor part with square ceramic tiles. From the performed insight was established that the research was performed according to a proper methodology for this type of objects.
